As Swiggy has a lower customer base, so its Logistics and fleet management is also impressive than Zomato. It delivers very fast where Zomato sometimes take more time, mainly in the Tier-3 cities. So one will choose Swiggy for sure in preferences of fast delivery.

Swiggy has frequent discounts on new users and Swiggy one subscription (99/month) has benefits like free delivery on order above 149 and discounts on Swiggy instamart and other food deliveries. Zomato has also discounts but it is always on the selected restaurants. Zomato Gold membership is 149/3 months. It is worked for both dine-in and delivery but free delivery options are very rare. As normal people want free delivery and aggressive discounts, Swiggy offers better in all kind of restaurants. But sometime for specific restaurants Zomato has an upper hand in terms of instant discounts.

Swiggy mainly focuses on local restaurants and more affordable options in their list whereas for Zomato they have premium restaurants both for food order and Dine-in. So one will go for some quality food from premium restaurant choose Zomato over Swiggy. But for local choices, Swiggy is quite a better option. Swiggy has more services like Swiggy Instamart (for grocery deliveries) and Swiggy Genie (For Parcel delivery and pickup) whereas Zomato has no such options. They briefly launched Zomato Market, but that was not trending much. So Swiggy is a clear winner in this area. Swiggy has a 24/7 customer support with in-app chat and the refund policies for delayed and cancelled food are also good. But for Zomato the refund policies are quite strict and non-refundable sometimes. Their customer support is slower sometimes. So Swiggy can give a better refund option rather than Zomato.

By this comparison we can conclude that Swiggy is a better option because it is best for fast deliveries, discounts, and grocery services and the refund policies are also quite impressive. But you have to choose Zomato for better premium restaurants and dine-out options and also if restaurant options are quite limited in your cities, Zomato is a better app for this.
